體驗工作坊 | One Day Workshop
水印木刻原理簡單,不需要版畫機、也不用化學溶劑,卻能隨著作者雙手製作出豐富變化。工作坊將介紹水印木刻基本技巧,參加者可體驗製作一幅不大於A5之版畫。
Water-based woodblock printmaking is best known for its use in traditional Chinese prints and ukiyo-e artistic genre. The workshop introduces participants the basic carving and printing process to achieve a print with the size within A5.

水印木刻歷史悠久,常見於中國傳統年畫及日本浮世繪。在十九世紀,日本充分發揮這種技法,為浮世繪增添獨特色彩,對當時歐洲美術造成深遠影響。水印木刻雖然是一種古老技法,但它獨特的質感以及靈活多變的表現手法,被人喜愛至今。水印木刻原理簡單,卻能隨著不同的紙張濕度、顏料、紙材和刷版技巧等製作出豐富的變化。課程將教授傳統水印木刻(浮世繪)之技法和步驟,探討它的特色和可能性。
Water-based Woodblock printmaking has a long history and far-reaching impact. It first appeared in Tang Dynasty and quickly spread throughout Japan. This evolved into Japanese woodblock printmaking which reflected the special skills of the printmakers and the regional materials used. During Edo period(1603~1867), most of the ukiyo-e became widespread as woodblock prints which result into a strong influence to western art. For today, the medium has gained recognition of its unique texture and as a flexible and non toxic method of printmaking for contemporary artists. The lessons will introduce the traditional techniques of creating a multi-color woodblock print and the craving and printing skills. |
